[Loving 칼럼] 하나님의 말씀을 들어야<아쿠오- ἀκούω> 다시 일어나게 될 것입니다!

■Loving Column(4088회)■ “무리가 듣고 그의 가르치심에 놀라더라”(마22:33) “당신은 가까이 나아가서 우리 하나님 여호와의 하시는 말씀을 다 듣고 우리 하나님 여호와의 당신에게 이르시는 것을 다 우리에게 전하소서 우리가 듣고 행하겠나이다 하였느니라”(신5:27) “그러므로 믿음은 들음에서 나며 들음은 그리스도의 말씀으로 말미암았느니라”(롬10:17) “진리가 예수 안에 있는 것 같이 너희가 과연 그에게서 듣고 또한 그 안에서 가르침을 받았을찐대”(엡4:21)

 

 

“듣다”를 뜻하는 헬라어는 <아쿠오- ἀκούω>입니다. “하나님의 말씀을 듣다”를 뜻하는 히브리어 <쉐마-שמע>에서 왔습니다. “하나님의 말씀을 경청하다, 깊이 새겨 듣다, 듣고 깨닫다”의 뜻입니다. 귀로 듣는 말씀을 통해서 깨닫게 되고, 내면에 깊은 영향을 미치는 것을 의미합니다. 그 깨달음은 곧 말씀에 대한 순종으로 연결 될 것입니다.

 

  

순종을 뜻하는 헬라어 <휘파쿠오-ὑπακούω>는 <아래에서>를 뜻하는 “휘포”와 <듣다>를 뜻하는 <아쿠오>가 합쳐진 단어입니다. “아래에서 듣다”라는 뜻입니다. 가장 낮은 곳에서 그 말씀을 경청해서 듣고 따르는 것을 의미합니다. 곧, <듣다>를 뜻하는 <아쿠오- ἀκούω>는 귀로만 듣는 Hearing을 의미하지 않습니다. 순종하기 위해서 온 마음으로 듣게 되는 것을 뜻합니다.

 

하나님의 형상대로 만든 사람만이 누리는 특권이 <깨달음>입니다. <알아 가는 것>입니다. 그 깨달음은 하나님의 말씀을 듣는데서 시작합니다. 말씀을 들을수록 성령께서 깨닫게 하실 것입니다. 그 깨달음은 순종의 시작이 될 것입니다. 하나님의 말씀을 귀로 들으면서 어느 순간 부터 깨달아 지는 것이 성령 하나님의 도우심입니다. 그 은혜가 순종으로 연결 될 것입니다. 겸손한 영혼만이 들으려고 할 것입니다. 그 영혼은 하나님의 말씀에 늘 귀 기울이려고 할 것입니다. ■Joseph Lee 목사 (https://my-jc.tistory.com)

Loving Column 4088   <Akuo - ἀκούω>

When the crowds heard him, they were astounded at his teaching (Matthew 22:33). Go yourself and listen to what the Lord our God says. Then come and tell us everything he tells you, and we will listen and obey (Deuteronomy  5:27). So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ (Romans 10:17). Since you have heard about Jesus and have learned the truth that comes from him (Ephesians 4:21).

 

A Greek word referring to “hearing” is <Akuo - ἀκούω>.  It came from a Hebrew word <Shema>, which means “hearing God’s word.” It means “to hear out God’s word, to ponder in God’s word in one’s heart, to come to understand upon hearing.” This kind of understanding will lead to action of obedience to the word that the person heard. A Greek word referring to “obedience. <Huipakuo>, is a compound word combining <Huipo>, which means from below, and <Akuo >, which means “to hear.” This shows us that obedience is about paying attention to the Word of God from the lowest place of humility. In other words, <Akuo - ἀκούω> does not mean merely hearing with one’s ears. It actually means listening carefully to the Word of God with all their hearts in order to obey.
