[Loving 칼럼] 하나님께서 함께 하시는 것<파레이미- πάρειμι>이 깨달아 지는 그 은혜

■Loving Column(4084회)■ “그러나 이 모든 일에 우리를 사랑하시는 이로 말미암아 우리가 넉넉히 이기느니라 내가 확신하노니 사망이나 생명이나 천사들이나 권세자들이나 현재 일이나 장래 일이나 능력이나 높음이나 깊음이나 다른 어떤 피조물이라도 우리를 우리 주 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 하나님의 사랑에서 끊을 수 없으리라”(롬8:37-39)

 

“옆에 있다”를 뜻하는 헬라어는 <파레이미- πάρειμι>입니다. “항상 함께 하다, 옆에서 도와 주다, 동행하다”의 뜻입니다. <옆에>를 의미하는 “파라”와 <있다>를 뜻하는 “에이미”의 합성어입니다. <파레이미- πάρειμι>는 <오다>의 뜻이 있는데 옆에서 도와 주시기 위해서 함께 있어 주는 것을 의미합니다.

 

하나님의 깊은 사랑이 <파레이미- πάρειμι>에 있습니다. 하나님께서 독생자, 예수 그리스도를 이 땅에 보내신 이유도 <파레이미- πάρειμι>입니다. 옆에서 도우시기 위해서 입니다. <임마누엘>의 은혜가 <파레이미- πάρειμι>에 있습니다. 함께 있어 주시기 위해서 입니다. 예수 그리스도께서 십자가에서 죽으시고 부활하신 이후에 성령님을 우리에게 보내셨습니다. <보혜사>로 오셨습니다. 옆에서 돕기 위해서 오셨습니다.

 

예수 그리스도를 믿는 사람에게 성령님은 늘 함께 해 주십니다. 하나님은 한번도 떠나지 않으시고 함께 하고 계십니다. 그런데, <내>가 문제입니다. 늘 가까이 하려고 하시는 하나님을 멀리 하려고 하는 죄성이 아직도 살아 있기 때문입니다. 예수 그리스도의 은혜로 죄사함을 받았지만, 성령님의 특별한 은혜가 있을 때, 하나님께 더 가까이 나아갈 수 있습니다. 성령님께서 깊이 임재 해 주셔야 합니다. ■Joseph Lee 목사 (https://my-jc.tistory.com)

Loving Column 4084 The grace of God beside us <Pareimi – πάρειμι>

No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[a] neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:37-39, NLT).

 

 

A Greek word referring to “being beside” is <Pareimi – πάρειμι>. It means “to be with always, to help right beside someone, to accompany someone.” It s a compound word that combines <para – beside> and <eimi – to be>. The word <Pareimi – πάρειμι> also has the meaning of <coming>, which means to be with someone in order to help. <Pareimi – πάρειμι> describes the deep love of God for us.
The reason God sent His only begotten Son on this earth was for the purpose of <Pareimi – πάρειμι>. It was to help right beside us. <Pareimi – πάρειμι> includes the the grace of <Immanuel – God with us>.
